Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the world, and in the UK cases are rising. 


According to, more than 20,000 people in the UK were diagnosed with melanoma in 2022. Although one of the most common types of cancers, 86% of melanoma skin cancer cases are preventable. This is why it is important that whilst we enjoy the sunshine, we also understand the importance of sun protection and the risks of UV exposure.

What Are the Different Types of Skin Cancer?

There are two main types of skin cancer: melanoma and .
