Lipo 360 and BBL

Combining a with in a single operation reshapes the entire and the buttocks at the same time, using fat removed from one area to augment the other.

A BBL takes fat harvested from the abdomen, flanks, or back, processes it, and re-injects it into the buttocks to add volume and shape. Because the donor sites are also contoured during the same procedure, both halves of the body are addressed in one operation.

Lipo 360 differs from by treating the midsection circumferentially — upper and lower abdomen, flanks, and mid-to-lower back — rather than a single area. Combined with a BBL, it produces a tighter waist alongside a fuller, more rounded posterior.

is liposuction performed all the way around the midsection in a single procedure. It treats the upper and lower abdomen, flanks, and mid-to-lower back, addressing areas that diet and exercise often can’t shift — particularly the obliques and lower back.

Because the entire waistline is treated at once, fat removal is more uniform and the front, side, and back profiles all change . This avoids the situation where a standard abdominal leaves untreated bulges visible from the side or behind.

What is a Brazilian Butt Lift?

The uses your own fat — harvested via from the abdomen, hips, or thighs — and transfers it to the buttocks to add volume and shape. the procedure uses your own tissue, there is no risk of rejection or reaction associated with or .

Older BBL techniques fat into or beneath the gluteal muscles, which carries a known risk of fat embolism if the needle enters one of the deep veins. Centre for Surgery uses an that keeps fat placement above the muscle layer, where the major veins are not present. This is the current safest approach to BBL surgery and is the standard recommended by the multi-society BBL safety .

Lipo 360 produces the fat that the BBL uses, so combining the two avoids a separate procedure and addresses the waist and buttocks in a single operation. A combined Lipo 360 and BBL at Centre for Surgery starts from £8,500. The final cost depends on the volume of liposuction needed and the amount of fat to be transferred. Detailed pricing is provided at consultation.

The combined procedure is performed under general anaesthesia. Power-assisted liposuction (PAL) is used to harvest fat from the midsection. The fat is then purified and injected into the buttocks under ultrasound guidance, with placement kept above the gluteal muscle layer to avoid the deep venous plexus.

Swelling and bruising are at their peak in the first two weeks and subside over six to eight weeks. A compression garment is worn full-time for the first six weeks. Sitting directly on the should be avoided for two to three weeks — a BBL pillow is used to redistribute pressure to the thighs. Most patients return to office work at two to three weeks; strenuous exercise is delayed until six to eight weeks.

The buttocks initially appear larger than the final result because of swelling and because surgeons over-graft to compensate for the 30–40% of transferred fat that the body reabsorbs in the first three months. The final shape becomes apparent at three to six months once the surviving fat has stabilised.
